The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto for 4 nights and it exceeded all expectations. This hotel perfectly blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern luxury amenities.

Location & Setting The hotel is ideally located along the Kamogawa River, just minutes from Gion district and major temples. The setting is absolutely stunning, especially during cherry blossom season.

Rooms & Amenities Our deluxe room was spacious and beautifully appointed with traditional Japanese elements. The bathroom featured a deep soaking tub with river views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were of the highest quality.

Service The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The concierge team provided excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing.

Dining We dined at Mizuki, their Japanese restaurant, which serves exceptional kaiseki cuisine. The breakfast buffet was also outstanding with both Japanese and Western options.

Overall Experience This is luxury hospitality at its finest. While expensive, the experience justifies the cost. Perfect for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to something extraordinary.
